C11 Mechanical Alignment & Collimation

Primary Collimation with Hyperstar

Both the hyperstar and the back focus of the scope are fitted with Hotech mirrors. These are translucent so the laser beams can partly shine through but reflective enough to bounce the beams back to the board.

By checking the front of the hyperstar we can determine the correct tilt for the primary mirror.
The projection of the three dots will show in the front face of the hyperstar. By tilting the primary these dots can be made to reflect on the same concentric circle on the target.
